HSEC ENDOWMENT FUND
ANNOUNCING THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF ELMORE COUNTY ENDOWMENT!
Thanks to Mary and Gary Belmont our shelter now has an Endowment Fund with the Central Alabama Community Foundation (CACF)! This has been one of our long- term goals and thanks to their generous donation to get us started, it is now a reality.
The CACF & affiliated Elmore County Community Foundation (ECCF) offers citizens the opportunity to build long-term support for their community in the tri-county area. Individuals may establish new funds to support specific purposes or organizations, or they may contribute to existing funds.
This endowment will build over years to provide a consistent source of funding for the shelter while also providing funds to the CACF, ECCF & the community. CACF & ECCF have helped our shelter with grants in the past, so we see this as a win-win for both of us.
